Happy Halloween! (A little late!)

Jack in his pumpkin costume

This post is a tad bit late...better late than never...right? :) Our neighborhood decided to trick-or-treat on Saturday night instead of Sunday which I was sort of happy about. We had TONS and TONS of trick-or-treaters...as always! Our neighborhood is full of kiddos...so, it makes Halloween extra fun. The streets are always packed with children.

Jack did wear his pumpkin costume, but, we didn't trick-or-treat with him this year...he's a little too young for that just yet. Roscoe also had a pumpkin costume...so, they were matching in their little pumpkin outfits (cheesy, I know...but, I just couldn't help myself!) Jack spent most of the night in his "Johnny-Jump-Up" while John and I took turns answering the door with Roscoe following closely behind. The kids at the door LOVED Roscoe! He got lots of compliments on his costume :).

Sunday night (actual Halloween night) we went to my in-laws for dinner. Margaret Allen and Andrew (Jack's cousins) were dressed up as Cinderella and Gus-Gus. We had a lot of fun eating candy and taking pictures of the kids in their costumes.

I can't believe that Halloween has already come and gone...now, on to Thanksgiving!

Roscoe in his pumpkin costume...poor dog! He's such a good sport!

Mom...stop taking pictures of me!

We had a VERY sleepy pumpkin at the end of the night!

  1. Love roscoe's costume. I'm still flip-flopping back and forth on who jack resembles most. I was going to say Barbara but the sleepy pumpkin pic reminds me more of John. Regardless, he's a cutie.

  2. I can't wait for the boys (at some point) to meet in person. Jack's pretty excited to meet his new cousin...he told me :).
